There were several games in which online sportsbooks listed the favorite as a team ranked lower than the ESPN Power Rankings. How did those results differ?
Based on the lines posted at online sportsbooks, the week 15 favorites won:
- 10 0f 15 games SU (straight up) - 67%
- 8 of 15 games ATS (against the spread) - 53% overall
- 8 of 10 games ATS in which the favorite won - 80%
- Bettors who took the Over went 7 of 10 when the favorite won - 70%
The following games are the online sportsbook favorites that won, although ranked lower than their ESPN Power Ranking opponent:
- Bengals over Browns, 19-17
- Titans over Texans, 31-17
- Colts over Jaguars, 34-24
- Panthers over Cardinals, 19-12
- Ravens over Saints, 30-24
